“Likovni divan” Exhibition, Podgorica

I participated in the group exhibition Likovni divan, which opened at the Pavilion Gallery of the Association of Visual Artists of Montenegro in Podgorica. The exhibition presents over 60 works by thirteen academic artists, bringing together mature artistic positions shaped through long-term creative and pedagogical practice.

The exhibition is part of the programme Days of Bosniak Culture and is conceived as a space of dialogue and attentive listening, reflecting the traditional notion of divan as a place of conversation, exchange and collective reflection. Set in the context of contemporary social realities, the exhibition highlights the role of art as a medium of communication, sensitivity and shared presence.

The selection brings together artists whose work is characterised by strong individual expression and lyrical, sensibility-driven approaches to painting. The exhibited works move between memory and the present moment, imagination and lived experience, marked by rich colour, layered surfaces and emotional intensity.

The exhibition was organised by the Days of Bosniak Culture programme, with support from the Fund for the Protection and Realisation of Minority Rights in Montenegro and the Bosniak Council.
