Exhibition of Works from the Zlarin Art Colony, Šibenik

In November 2018, works created during the Zlarin Art Colony were presented at an exhibition held at the Library Gallery in Šibenik. The exhibition represented the public outcome of a broader artistic and humanitarian initiative organised by the Kamenčići Association.

The exhibition featured works by eleven academic painters from Sarajevo, produced during their stay on the island of Zlarin. While the artworks were shaped by the specific atmosphere of the island, the exhibition in Šibenik offered a new context and an opportunity for dialogue with a wider audience.

For me, this exhibition was not only about presenting finished works, but also about reaffirming the role of art as a space for encounter, solidarity and shared responsibility, especially when connected to a clear social purpose.
