Exhibition: Čuvaj me! — Sarajevo

I am participating in the group exhibition Čuvaj me!, open to the public from 16–23 October 2025 at Gazi Husrev-beg’s Hanikah, Sarajevo.
The exhibition is organised and curated by artist Nela Baždar.

Set in a space of spiritual and historical resonance, the exhibition creates a pause from the noise of the contemporary world and opens a quiet field of attention, responsibility and care. Rather than speaking about nature, the works presented here speak with it — not as a warning, but as an invitation.

The exhibition brings together artists from different parts of the world, connected by a shared sensibility: an understanding that nature is not something to be conquered, but something to be recognised and listened to. Across diverse materials, approaches and visual languages, nature appears not as a theme, but as a living interlocutor.

Čuvaj me! does not privilege a single artistic voice or form. It embraces aesthetic, symbolic, spiritual and engaged practices alike, grounded not in technique alone, but in awareness. In this context, art becomes a gesture of care — an inner ecology that speaks both to the environment and to the human need for balance, measure and presence.

I am presenting the work Kolaps u plavom (Collapse in Blue), mixed media on canvas, 40 × 60 cm, as part of this collective reflection.
