Exhibition at MMC Gallery, Novi Pazar

In December 2025, the 49th edition of the Sopoćanska viđenja exhibition opened at MMC Gallery in Novi Pazar, presenting works created during last summer’s fine art colony. The exhibition was organised in a conversational format, allowing the audience not only to view the works, but also to hear personal reflections from the participating artists. 

During the opening discussion led by Amra Hodžić Jejna, I joined fellow artists Faris Redžepagić, Jasna Pavlović and Nedžma Zukorlić in talking about the significance of the colony, the creative atmosphere we experienced, and the sources of inspiration we found while working at the Tourist Settlement “Ras” on Pazarište. 

The exhibition brought together artists from across the region and offered an opportunity for dialogue about artistic practice, shared challenges and visual exploration emerging from the context of the colony. This presentation underscored the value of site-based artistic interaction and the ways in which collective reflection can enrich individual work.
