Art & Community Practice

My artistic practice extends beyond the studio into educational, community-based and site-specific contexts.
Through workshops, collaborative projects and work in natural environments, i explore how visual art can function as a space of dialogue, responsibility and collective experience.

Workshops & Education

Alongside my artistic practice, I develop workshops and educational formats that use visual art as a tool for exploration, learning and dialogue. My work with young people and diverse community groups focuses on creativity, critical thinking, and the relationship between art, environment and society. Rather than transferring fixed knowledge, these workshops are conceived as open processes that encourage participation, experimentation and collective reflection, adapting to the specific context and participants involved.

Community & Participatory Projects

As the founder and lead of EkoGard, I initiate and develop projects that bring together contemporary art, ecological awareness and education. Working within local communities, these projects use artistic processes as a framework for learning, participation and collective reflection.

Rather than separating artistic practice from social engagement, my work explores their intersection, where art operates as a tool for connection, responsibility and long-term involvement with place.

Art in Nature & Context

Nature and place play an important role in my art and community practice. Outdoor workshops and site-based activities are integrated into the artistic process not as thematic illustrations, but as environments that shape attention, rhythm and emotional balance.

Working in natural settings supports slower observation, embodied presence and a different relationship to visual expression. These contexts allow participants to step outside institutional frameworks and engage with art in a more open, grounded and attentive way.

Approach & Values

I see art and community practice as parts of the same process. My work grows through openness, responsibility and long-term involvement, with a strong focus on process rather than final results.

Environmental awareness and social engagement are not treated as separate themes, but as everyday realities that shape the way I work, think and create.
