22nd International Painting Symposium Rudarci, Bulgaria (2019)

In October 2019, I took part in the 22nd International Painting Symposium held in Rudarci, Bulgaria. The symposium brought together artists from different countries, creating a space for artistic exchange, dialogue and focused studio work in direct contact with the local landscape and environment.

The residency emphasized painting as a process shaped by place, atmosphere and daily interaction among artists. The works produced during the symposium reflect individual artistic approaches while sharing a common sensitivity to the natural and cultural context of the region.
